A surprise afternoon coffee and cake get together for Chair Shantanu Basu’s last day was held on the 2nd floor of the atrium. Thanks to the front office staff, led by Keri Knox, for putting the event together. Shantanu came in from off campus, and as he rounded the stairs of the atrium he was greeted by applause and cheers from the large group of well-wishers.
It was a good chance for Shantanu to reminisce with colleagues and friends on his 5 years of dedication to the department.
